IHA Wins Energy Star Award Ithaca, New York.  March 2, 2009 - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) have awarded the Ithaca Housing Authority the 2009 ENERGY STAR Award for excellence in Energy-Efficient Affordable Housing in recognition in its efforts to provide energy-efficient housing for low-income residents.
